Public Services Group networking event

The IOSH Public Services Group, in collaboration with the Emergency Planning Society and Basildon Borough Council, will host a networking event, focussing on health safety and wellbeing during a crisis.
Event overview
The Public Services sector have many people working on the front line, so how do we look after and protect those workers and volunteers? We will explore what tools and support mechanisms are available and how we can prepare for the before, during and after.
Featuring a number of high profile speakers from MIND, HSE, London Fire Brigade and The Home Office, this event will explore mental health, post-traumatic stress disorder, emergency management, legal responsibilities and more.
What’s in it for you
An opportunity to review and debate how you effectively manage the health, safety and wellbeing of employees and volunteers during a crisis. What are your legal obligations, how do you identify mental health concerns, what does PTSD really look like?
