You are invited to attend a Consultation Workshop that the Society has arranged to discuss a further document produced under the auspices of the National Operational Guidance Programme, concerning Major Incidents. Recent tragic major incidents in the UK and abroad have demonstrated the importance of effective planning for such events, and this is an opportunity for members to have an input into this vital area of work.

The document can be accessed at www.ukfrs.com; please print out a copy for the Workshop, or bring an electronic version. This website also includes useful background information, and the survey questions for the consultation.  As with our previous Consultation Workshops, if you are unable to attend in person, please e-mail any comments to William Read by 24 October, and these will discussed at the Workshop.

Stafford railway station is a 10 minute walk from the venue.  One CPD point may be claimed for participation in the Workshop.
